THE MINISTER OF CONSTRUCTION

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations No. 68/2006/QH11 dated June 29, 2006; Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 41/2007/ND-CP dated March 22, 2007 On urban underground construction; Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP dated August 1, 2007 detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations; Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 17/2008/ND-CP dated February 4, 2008 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction; At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, and the Director of the Department of Legislation,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To promulgate the National Technical Regulation on urban underground works with the code QCVN 08:2009/BXD:

• Part 1. Subway;
• Part 2. Parking garage.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from October 1, 2009.

Article 3. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of Governmental agencies, Chairmen of People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and relevant organizations and individuals shall be responsible for the implementation of this Circular.
