Pursuant to Decree No. 81/2017/ND-CP dated July 17, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment,

The Minister of Construction promulgates the Circular issuing the National Technical Regulation on “Subway Construction Works”, code number QCVN 08:2018/BXD.

Article 1. To promulgate together with this Circular the National Technical Regulation on “Subway Construction Works”, code number QCVN 08:2018/BXD.

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect from March 15, 2019 and replace the content of regulations in the National Technical Regulation on “Urban Underground Works, code number QCVN 08:2009/BXD, Part 1. Subway” promulgated together with Circular No. 28/2009/TT-BXD dated August 14, 2009 of the Minister of Construction.

Article 3. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of Governmental agencies, Chairpersons of People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-affiliated cities, and relevant organizations and individuals shall be responsible for the implementation of this Circular.
