Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations and Decree No. 78/2018/ND-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP;

Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2022/ND-CP dated August 8, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment;

The Minister of Construction promulgates the Circular promulgating Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD National technical regulation on fire safety for buildings and structures.

Article 1. To promulgate together with this Circular Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD National technical regulation on fire safety for buildings and structures.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from December 1, 2023.

Article 3. Transitional provisions

1. Construction design dossiers that have completed the appraisal of fire prevention and fighting design by competent state management agencies, before this Circular takes effect, shall continue to be implemented according to the appraised design dossiers.

2. Construction design dossiers that have received written feedback on fire prevention and fighting design at the basic design stage from competent state management agencies, but have not yet been appraised for fire prevention and fighting design, before this Circular takes effect, shall continue to be appraised for design according to the written feedback.

3. Construction design dossiers that have not been commented on and appraised for fire prevention and fighting design by competent state management agencies from the time this Circular takes effect, must comply with the provisions of QCVN 06:2022/BXD and Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD.

Article 4. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for the implementation of this Circular.
