09/2008/QD-BXD ON THE PROMULGATION OF VIETNAM CONSTRUCTION CODE “RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS AND PUBLIC WORKS – SAFETY OF LIFE AND HEALTH”

THE MINISTER OF CONSTRUCTION

Pursuant to Decree No. 17/2008/ND-CP dated February 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction; At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, and the Director of the Institute of Construction Science and Technology in Official Letter No. 322/VKH-VNCCB dated March 2, 2008.

DECIDES

Article 1. To promulgate together with this Decision the Vietnam Construction Code QCXDVN 05 : 2008/BXD “Residential buildings and public works – Safety of life and health”.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Chief of the Ministry Office, the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, and the Heads of relevant units shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision./.
