Visual adaptation

The phenomenon of human eye’s perception of light changing when moving between spaces with different luminance levels. Light adaptation occurs when moving from a place with low luminance to a place with high luminance. Dark adaptation occurs when moving from a place with high luminance to a place with low luminance.
